The University of Guelph and the UG Faculty Association that represents some 800 staff at U of G and Guelph-Humber on Friday confirmed the tentative agreement reached on Oct 21. 

In a press release set out on Friday, the university confirmed that the agreement was ratified, avoiding a strike that would have also affected the University of Guelph-Humber.

“Negotiating teams representing UGFA and the University worked diligently to reach this agreement, and we want to express our appreciation to members of both bargaining teams for their hard work and dedication,” reads a statement from U of Guelph officials.
