An urgent statement from IGNITE leadership has gone out asking students to email President Maja Jocson issues to bring forward to Queen’s Park. is the email to send “specific examples of student hardships during the strike.”

This includes University of Guelph-Humber students.

Message from Maja Jocson, President of IGNITE:

Attn Ontario College Friends!

I got a message from the Minister’s office asking if I have any student letter/message/email with specific examples of student hardships during the strike. I have received a number of student concerns but I want reach out to everyone!

Please send me any specific examples of the strike affected you personally regardless how small/big you think it is because every single student matters and we’re all suffering because of this strike!

Because of tight timelines, the Minister’s office needs this ASAP. So please send it to by 6PM latest!
