President Jimmy Morales said on Sunday that Guatemala would follow the United States by moving its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, after recently voting against a United Nations resolution denouncing the U.S. move.

Guatemala was one of nine countries voted earlier this week with the U.S. when the General Assembly voted in a massive majority to denounce U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.

The Guatemalan decision comes after Morales met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
