Toronto emergency services reported to the scene of a small plane crash at Billy Bishop Airport.
The pilot is safe and was seen walking after a small plane crash-landed on the runway of Billy Bishop Airport. The pilot was not taken to a hospital. No other injuries have been yet reported.
The plane’s nose gear collapsed during landing, says Ports Toronto spokesperson, Jen Brailsford.
Paramedics were called to the scene around 3:00 p.m. ET, for a report of a plane without its front wheel for landing. Toronto Police were called because the pilot reported his engine issues.
There may be short flight delays at the Airport.
