The University of Guelph-Humber will use the results of a province-wide post-secondary sexual violence survey to improve its policy, procedures and services on campus, the university said on Tuesday.

The Student Voices on Sexual Violence Survey is scheduled to launch on Feb. 26, and was designed by an advisory committee within Ontario’s Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development.

All post-secondary students from public and private institutions will be invited to participate in the survey run by CCI Research on behalf of the ministry.

Upon completion, students will receive a $5 electronic gift card as a “token of appreciation”, according to the survey website.

Guelph-Humber’s E-News said that students will receive an email when the survey goes live.
