FCSS Networking Event

Looking into career options after finishing your Family and Community Social Services degree?

GHAMA’S Design Workshop

Need to make your resume look more appealing but never knew how?  Check out Guelph-Humber Advertising and Marketing Association‘s resume revamping workshop! You will learn how to create your own personal letterhead and more! This seminar is taught by GH Media professor Nicole Dimson and is CCR eligible! There will also be refreshments and prizes!

Etiquette Workshop

Need a lesson on networking etiquette?

Etiquette expert, Dr. Glenn Hanna along with the Career & Placement Team will give you important lessons on how to hold a fork, how to convince an employer to hire you and how to give them your business card. This is also a free event so grab your tickets!

FCSS’ See Change Symposium

The event is lead by students and has three pillars: Learn, act and lead.

The EventBrite page states, “Attendees will learn about the nature and scope of our most insidious social challenges; act to promote a compassionate and committed response to those in need by stating solution-based conversations; and lead to incite change in purist of social justice, to empower, and to build resiliency.”

Students can also speak to a career and clinical panel and ask questions to opportunities after graduation!

Kinsoc’s Study Rooms

The Kinesiology Society will be hosting study rooms with free coffee and snacks. Meet people from other years or come out with your friends for a fun study session!

The GH Post Rebranding Event

The GH Post will be hosting our rebranding event and revealing our new name!

GHCA’s Case Execution Workshop

The Guelph-Humber Consulting Association is hosting a case execution workshop, lead by Justin Medak, the Assistant Program Head of the Business Administration program.

The event will teach attendees how to analyze cases and be a winner at competitions!
