OG Anunoby is back, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
Shooting guard Norman Powell will miss Thursday’s tilt against the Pacers, as he was seen this afternoon in a walking boot according to Mike Ganter.
The hottest team in the NBA will set to do battle with a formidable foe who are flying under the radar of many as of late.
The Pacers have won three consecutive games and are looking to gain ground on the Cleveland Cavaliers for the third seed behind Toronto and Boston.
They are lead by their star guard Victor Oladipo, who is averaging 23.6 PPG which sits him 13th in the league, one spot behind Raptors superstar Demar DeRozan.
Meanwhile, the Raptors have put together a run of their own, by winning nine straight and 16 of their last 17, cementing themselves as the class of the Eastern Conference.
Toronto looks to distance themselves from the rest of the East even further, as they already hold a 4.5 game lead on the second place Celtics.
Home court throughout the playoffs will be vital to Toronto’s success, especially if they run into Lebron and company on their path to the finals.
Coach Casey is urging the team to stay focused and come prepared for every remaining game on the schedule, and it continues Thursday night with 15 games left to play.
Tip off is 7:00 p.m. from Indiana and can be seen on Sportsnet One.
