United States President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he will likely meet soon with counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss the arms race, Ukraine, North Korea, Syria and more in the near future.
Mr. Trump also shrugged questions aside regarding the Iran deal, telling reporters to await a coming decision from the White House while sitting next to visiting Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman, an powerful anti-Iran force.
The U.S. president’s comments were in regards to the Iran nuclear deal signed by six major countries under the leadership of former President Barack Obama, which aims to stop Iran from building up its nuclear program.
Trump has railed against the deal since his presidential campaign.
The president also condemned those responsible for the serial Texas bombings, saying that working with local governments has been effective but that “we have to find this very sick person or people.”
