Toronto’s entertainment hub, formerly known as the Air Canada Centre will be now known as the Scotiabank Arena, as of July 1.

Toronto sports teams such as the Maple Leafs and Raptors and concerts will remain at the Scotiabank Arena.

Scotiabank shelled out $800 million for the 20 year partnership.

The Arena is currently undergoing a makeover such as a larger screen at the Maple Leaf Square, new logos on scoreboards, letterheads and smaller items like pens.

On the outside, the Arena’s signage can change colours and have videos. For example, red lighting can be used when the Raptors are playing and blue for the Leafs.
