Toronto is now home to The Art of Banksy exhibit, which is the largest Banksy exhibit featuring over 80 original pieces and $35 million in art from the mysterious graffiti artist.
The Banksy exhibit, curated by Steve Lazarides, the artist’s previous manager, includes iconic pieces such as “Laugh Now” and “Girl with Balloon”.
Banksy chooses to remain anonymous and has never come forward to offer interpretation of his pieces, leaving it up to the audience.
Lazarides says, “This is a one of a kind exhibition – you will never again have the opportunity to see so many works in one place. Once the exhibition is over, the artwork will be returned to 40 different art collectors around the world, and the chances that they will be displayed together again in the future are extremely slim.”
The exhibit is located at 213 Sterling Road and is available until September 2.
Timed and general tickets range from $32.50 to $40 excluding tax.
Timed tickets allows you to enter at a specific hour on a specific day. Whereas general tickets allow you to enter the exhibit at any time on any day after timed ticket holders have entered.
Check out their website to grab your tickets.
