The Toronto Blue Jays traded veteran outfielder Curtis Granderson to the Milwaukee Brewers for Demi Orimoloye.

Granderson, 37, signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays in early 2018. The Blue Jays brought him in for depth and most importantly, his experience in the league. Granderson provided key offensive and defensive help during his time in Toronto. On June 10th against the Baltimore Orioles, Granderson hit a career high 6 RBIs with a home run, two doubles, a single, and a walk. Over the course of his career, Curtis Granderson has a .252 average with 330 home runs and 900 RBIs.

The Blue Jays received 21 year-old Canadian Demi Orimoloye who is a graduate of the Canadian National Junior Baseball program. Orimoloye spent his time this year with both the Brewers Class-A affiliate in Wisconsin, and the Class A-Advanced Carolina Mudcats.
