Five candidates were nominated for the one remaining University of Guelph-Humber seat at the Guelph Senate, in a by-election called because only three ran for the school’s four seats earlier in the year, The Avro Post was told on Saturday.

Two of the candidates, Hannah Derue and Kayla Terceira, have been known since summer, but there has been no public confirmation that The Avro Post has been privy to of the other candidates.

Voting this election will be conducted through online ballots which will be emailed to all eligible students via Gryphmail. Voting will occur from Sept. 24 to Sept. 28.
