The Avro Post – Senate by-election Debate

It’s voting week for the candidates of the Senate by-election!  Learn more about the candidates at the Senate by-election Debate, hosted by World Editor, Jacob Argintaru. It will be filmed live on our Facebook page.

Humber/IGNITE – Pay-what-you-can Soup Bar Grand Opening

The program’s aim is to eliminate food waste and provide food to hungry students using rescued food from the college, bakeries, groceries and restaurants.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

GHBC – Area of Emphasis Event

Are you in the Business Administration program and want more information on what Area of Emphasis you should choose?

The Guelph-Humber Business Council (GHBC) is hosting an Area of Emphasis event where attendees can learn more about Areas of Emphasis and learn what careers are available, and meet Guelph-Humber alumni.

Thursday, Sept. 27

Take Back the Night March

March in solidarity of survivors of sexual assault and violence at the third annual Take Back the Night march. Participants can make a sign in support of the march from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Kinesiology Society is hosting their first general meeting of the year. Meet their executives and learn the events they have planned this year!

Friday, Sept. 28

GHAMA –  Digital Design Workshop

Interested in creating your own business card but never knew how? Join Guelph-Humber Advertising and Marketing Association (GHAMA) for their second annual Design Workshop! Learn cool design techniques using Adobe InDesign that are bound to make your business card an eye catcher!

This FREE one-day class is CCR eligible and is taught by former GHAMA president and GH alumna, Arienne Johnson.
