What is the Kinesiology Society?

The Kinesiology society is comprised of “students committed to building upon existing knowledge and offering insight into all factors of the health industry. By organizing and offering informative events, we hope to foster a growing passion for kinesiology students.”

Who is your executive team?

The executive team is comprised of four students in a variety of different years all in the Kinesiology program.

Jonas Medina is the acting President currently entering his 4th year. Darien Makins is the Vice-President of Activities also entering her 4th year.

Erika Caldwell is the Vice-President of Communications entering her 3rd year. Lastly, Sophie Pham is the Vice-President of Social Media entering her 2nd year of Kinesiology.

What can we expect from the Kin Society this year?

The society says they are looking forward to the “many opportunities” that come along with being a member of the Kin Society.

“Meeting new people, sharing our passion for kinesiology with others and creating fun and engaging events for other students to mingle, network and develop their own passion for kinesiology.

A representative for the society says to look out for “awesome events” that the society will have planned for the 2018-2019 school year.
