Resume Fest

Connect, network, create opportunities for a future employment and practice your interview skills with industry professionals in your field such as the RCMP, Enterprise and Lullaboo. Sessions are 20 minutes long.

Participate in a focus group about accessibility to make life easier for students with accessibility needs.

Mock Interview Fest

Connect, network, create opportunities for a future employment and get your resume reviewed by industry professionals in your field such as the RCMP, Nike and Career Edge. Sessions are 20 minutes long.

Time: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Humber Hawks – Basketball Games

Support your Humber Hawks at their basketball games against the Sheridan Bruins. The Humber Dance Company will also perform at halftime.

Women: 6 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 8

GHCA’s Design Thinking Challenge: Day One

Have you been keeping up with the Guelph-Humber Consulting Association‘s weekly events on design and human-centered thinking? Apply your knowledge to the final Design Thinking Challenge.

This final challenge is based on a human-centered problem in the Humber community. Attendees will build solutions and gain hands-on experience on what innovation and management consulting is all about.

Attendees will be judged and receive feedback in between 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Teams have 16 hours to rethink their ideas before Friday if necessary.

Presentations: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 9

GHCA’s Design Thinking Challenge: Day Two

Final presentations will take place and awards will be given out at the final day of the Design Thinking Challenge. All participants receive a medal and certificate.

Presentations: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: GH 303

Awards Ceremony: 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Location: Humber College Staff Lounge
