Humber College will host a tour of Lakeshore Campus on Thursday that will focus on the movie history of the grounds, including underground tunnels.

Students, faculty, staff and their friends can meet at the Lakeshore Ground Interpretive Centre to take the tour starting at 4 p.m., with a suggested, but not essential, donation fee of $5, which will go to United Way.

Pre-registration is required, but the link given by Humber Today sends interested parties to the Lakeshore Grounds events page, which does not list Thursday’s tours, only previous tours from last month.

“Tunnels and grounds are mobility accessible,” the event page says, with optional entry into attics that have a steep set of stairs at the completion of the tour.

“The Lakeshore Grounds have served as a popular filming location for movies, television shows, and commercials since 1977,” reads the event description on Humber Today.

“Step behind the scenes of your favourite productions as we highlight the locations and stories of these productions. Tour route includes the oldest section of the underground tunnels.”
