The Toronto Raptors snapped a two-game skid on Sunday night as they defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 123-120.
All Toronto starters scored in double figures, including Kawhi Leonard who recorded a double-double as he scored 33 points and grabbed 10 boards. Kyle Lowry had 19 points and nine assists, Pascal Siakam had 14. Serge Ibaka also had a double-double as he scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Danny Green scored 10.
The Raptors bench had 36; Fred VanVleet had 13 of those. Norman Powell and Delon Wright had nine apiece, OG Anunoby had five.
All Mavericks starters also scored in double figures. Luka Doncic recorded his second career triple-double as he scored 35 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and provided 10 assists. Harrison Barnes scored 14, Dennis Smith Jr. had 13, Wesley Matthews had 12 and DeAndre Jordan had 11 points and nine rebounds. Dorian Finney-Smith scored 13 off the bench.
Veteran Dirk Nowitzki scored seven points in ten minutes, and went 2-2 from three. Canadian Dwight Powell scored eight points in 12 minutes.
The Raptors shot 50% from three-point range, and only turned the ball over seven times.
Kyle lowry also shot 50% from three, going 5-10. The Raptors ended the first quarter with this buzzer-beater from Lowry.
The Raptors are just 0.5 games back of Eastern Conference leaders the Milwaukee Bucks, and will host them on Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena.
Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
