Students attending this workshop will be able to learn how to create their own portfolio that will be able to best represent themselves and their work experience.

Psych Society: Disability Awareness Event

The GH Psychology Society will be hosting its first Disability Awareness Event which will include guest speakers.

Wednesday, Feb 6

Seminar: Professional Etiquette

This seminar will prepare students on the do’s and dont’s of professional emailing and phone calls, an essential task to proper workplace communication.

Time: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

IGNITE Real Talks – Van Lathan

American journalist Van Lathan will be coming to Humber to discuss his challenges and experiences in his career. Most notably known as the TMZ reporter that confronted Kanye West about his comments regarding slavery. Tickets are still available via Eventbrite for students to register for the event.

Thursday, Feb 7

GHES Society: Let’s Talk Entrepreneurship

The Guelph-Humber Entrepreneurship society will be hosting their first event of the year and it will be all about learning how to start a business. There will be guest speakers sharing their own experiences as entrepreneurs and being in the business industry.

Time: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
