IGNITE last Tuesday announced an all-new way for students to meet candidates for this year’s elections which they have called the “Mix and Mingle” — multiple meet-and-greet events that will take place on Wednesday.

The presidential event will go from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the Humber College North Campus Student Centre and at Lakeshore Campus K Building simultaneously. IGNITE says that they will live stream between the dual events so students can see all of the candidates.

Vice president and Board of Directors candidates will have their time from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at North Campus’s Leadership Lounge KX203, Lakeshore’s K Building and Guelph-Humber’s GH126.

IGNITE says on the event page that students will be able to ask questions in person of the candidates or via the live stream they will have set up. It is not clear whether these series of events will replace the annual elections forums that usually take place.

The Avro Post will have reporters at all campuses for each election event.
