Caldwell is a third-year Kinesiology student who was highlighted by Guelph-Humber after winning a gold medal in Taekwondo and represented Canada in the 2018 World Championships in Taipei, Taiwan, according to a release by the university.

The athlete is a member of the Kinesiology Society, she is involved with the Exercise is Medicine on Campus program, and she was part of a contingent of Kinesiology students who volunteered over summer 2018 at the Masters Indigenous Games.

There are no platform items or any photos posted as of Sunday on Caldwell’s campaign account. In the profile she links the Guelph-Humber story on her championship. The Avro Post has reached out and requested more information on her campaign.

All IGNITE candidate names were released on Monday, and The Avro Post has reached out to all of them with interview questions that are published immediately once a response is received.
