The University of Guelph-Humber’s Women in Business Society is holding a job fair and multi-part panel on Wednesday marking International Women’s Day happening at the end of this week.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. a fair will take over the Atrium with recruiters “looking to hire a diverse workforce” and “partner organizations promoting their events in recognition of International Women’s Day”.

A posting by the society also describes a panel split into two sections that features all women who are working in a variety of fields who will talk about their experiences.

The event is open to all students but organizers list an Eventbrite ticket link for those interested to sign up in a post on the society’s social media.

The panel discussion is broken up into two sessions. The first session starts at 1 p.m. and features women employed with the police, Tiffany & Co., transit enforcement, the Rexdale Women’s Centre and XMC.

The second session starts immediately after at 2:30 p.m. and includes women working at RBH Inc, a law office, Mancor, 680 News, TIFF and a transit worker.
