IGNITE is enticing students to participate in a new Awareness Survey this week that outlines the services the student union offers and asks students to mark how much value the union brings to their lives for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card.
The first part of the survey highlights health and dental insurance, bursaries, the dispute resolution clinic, Know Your Rights, the new soupbar, tax clinic, graduation photography service, emergency menstrual kits, events, the sleep lounge, elections, clubs and more.
The student union asks students how many of the services they are aware of and if they know IGNITE offers them. Then they ask: “based on the above list, how much value do you think IGNITE adds to your life as a student?”
It comes as part of an apparent campaign by IGNITE to shore up awareness and support ahead of optional students fees coming into play this fall as part of changes to post-secondary education announced by the provincial government in January.
