The Guelph-Humber Advertising and Marketing Association next week will be holding creative and professional photo-shoots along with a LinkedIn seminar led by a project manager from Humber College.

A “creative portrait shots” session is planned for 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the photography studio. At 5:30 p.m. in GH124, Ashvini Srihan of the Humber career and placement portal is leading a seminar on the career-focused LinkedIn networking site.

GHAMA will round out their “trio of events” with a photoshoot for LinkedIn on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the University of Guelph-Humber Atrium — where students can get their professional headshot snapped. This event was fully booked, GHAMA announced on Monday.

The events are free for Guelph-Humber students to attend but GHAMA encourages those interested in going to reserve their slot via a Linktree page. There are different time slots offered for the two photoshoots, with each slot having 15 minutes.

GHAMA, an official society on campus, regularly holds events through the school year geared towards branding, business, and media. In the past, there have been workshops around Adobe InDesign and they hosted a LinkedIn photoshoot last year.
