The Ontario division of the Canadian Federation of Students is carrying out the next big rally against changes made to student life by the Ontario government on Wednesday, where at least 17 universities and colleges are walking out at noon.

The event page lists nearly 1,000 student participating, though when including numbers from the individual schools there are significantly more participating to “demonstrate to the Ontario government that we will not tolerate their attacks on students.”

There are already have been several rallies at individual campuses and joint-protests at Queen’s Park. Humber College is not partaking, and neither is the University of Guelph-Humber. IGNITE is not associated with CFS.

The University of Guelph is joining in with the walkout, though only just over 60 students have indicated they are interested or attending.
