Humber College’s community development program students hosted a rally protesting the Ontario government’s cuts to education on Tuesday at Lakeshore Campus.

The “#HandsOffMyEducation” rally encouraged students to get involved with food, performances, games and music at the L Commons from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. — with many signing a Change.org petition against the cuts.

IGNITE President Monica Khosla and Vice Presidents Maheen Nazim and Jeremy Afonso were there in person from what could be verified. Director Nisha Haroon was one if the organizers of the rally.
