This is our weekly round up of what we consider the top events that are happening at the University of Guelph-Humber/Humber College North Campus. All events on campus are free unless stated otherwise. 

Monday, April 1

IGNITE: Tax Clinic

In case you missed last weeks’ top events, IGNITE will continue to host free tax sessions to help students file their income taxes. The tax clinic will continue to be held until April 25th, so if you haven’t filed your taxes yet there is still time!

Time: 10 am – 4 p.m.

Location: Humber North (KX205)

Tuesday, April 2

Humber Comedy Stand-Up Showcase

The Humber Comedy second year students will be performing at Yuk Yuks comedy club in downtown Toronto. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Movie Night

The Math and Writing Centre will be hosting a movie night. The film that will be featured is The Big Short, and there will also be free popcorn provided.

Time: 6 p.m.

Thursday, April 4

IGNITE: Job Fair

IGNITE will be hosting a job fair both at the Humber North and Lakeshore campus. This fair will be for part-time work positions at IGNITE. Some of the available jobs include content writers, promotional assistants, videographers, graphic designers and more.

Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Friday, April 5

GHAMA Members Appreciation Event

To end off the school year, GHAMA be hosting their final event of the year. This event will celebrate the accomplishments of GHAMA, include refreshments, prizes and creating vision boards.

Time: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Humber Music Spring Showcase

The Humber Music’s 2018-2019 series will end off with their final showcase of the year. This showcase will feature The Humber Studio Jazz Ensemble led by Mark Promane, with special guests professors Pat LaBarbera, John LaBarbera, and Joe LaBarbera.

Time: 8 p.m.
