Thousands of high school teachers rallied at Queen’s Park on Saturday to protest incoming changes to the education system that incoming increasing classroom sizes, mandatory e-learning programs and cut over 3,400 teaching positions.
The rally was organized by members from five different teachers’ unions with protestors coming from as far away as Sudbury arriving in Toronto in more than 150 buses. They were joined by large groups of parents, students and school board trustees.
