The Toronto Raptors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 114-106 on Wednesday.

Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet combined for 66 points. Siakam scored 36 points and had six rebounds, VanVleet had 30 points and seven assists.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson recorded a double-double as he had 16 points and 11 boards. Terence Davis had 15 points and six rebounds.

Marc Gasol had nine points, five assists and five rebounds.

The backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum were held to a combined 28 points. McCollum had 19 while Lillard had 9 points and 10 assists.

Rodney Hood scored 25 and Anfernee Simons had 17. Hassan Whiteside had 12 points and nine rebounds.

The Raptors signed the undrafted Davis on July 11, and has been an underrated addition to the team. He made three three-pointers on Wednesday.

Hollis-Jefferson was signed to help improve the team’s defence since Kawhi Leonard has left, and has shown that he is capable of getting stops and scoring points.

The Raptors conclude their road trip on Satuday when they take on the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center.

Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m.

The Toronto Raptors began December with a 130-110 win against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.

The Raptors scored a season-best 77 points in the first half. They were up a franchise-best 40 points at halftime. They also allowed a season-worst with the most points conceded in one quarter when Utah scored 49 in the third.

Pascal Siakam had 35 points in 35 minutes, along with five assists and five rebounds. Fred VanVleet recorded a double-double with 21 points and 11 assists. Norman Powell scored 15.

Serge Ibaka returned from injury after missing just over three weeks of action, he scored 13 points. Terence Davis had 13 points as well. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and OG Anunoby scored 10 points apiece.

Mike Conley led the Jazz with 20 points, Jeff Green scored 19 points in 15 minutes off the bench.

Donovan Mitchell had 16 points, and Rudy Gobert recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 11.

Here are some of the Raptors highlights of the night:

Head coach Nick Nurse was named the eastern conference coach of the month on Tuesday. This award was given to him for the games played in October and November, as he coached the Raptors to a current record of 14-4.

The Raptors host the Miami Heat at Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday.

Tip-off is set for 7:30.

The Toronto Raptors defeated the Orlando Magic 90-83 on Friday.

The game in Orlando was Nick Nurse’s 100th regular season game as an NBA coach.

Norman Powell led the Raptors with 33 points, a career high for the former UCLA Bruin.

Fred VanVleet scored 22, and had five rebounds, four assists and a career-high seven steals.

Pascal Siakam recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Chris Boucher scored seven, while Marc Gasol and Ronade Hollis-Jefferson had six points apiece.

Evan Fournier led the Magic with 18 points. Former first-overall draft pick Markelle Fultz scored 15.

Mo Bamba had 11 points and seven boards off the bench. Canadian Khem Birch had four points and 12 rebounds.

Hollis-Jefferson had a couple of accurate assists to help his teammates in the paint.

19 of Powell’s 33 points in the game came in the third quarter. Here are his highlights:

The Raptors return home for three games, with the first one being on Sunday against the Utah Jazz.

Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at Scotiabank Arena.

The Toronto Raptors defeated the New York Knicks 126-98 on Wednesday.

Toronto have started their season 8-0 at home for the first time in franchise history.

With this win, the Raptors now own the longest home win streak vs. division opponents.

Pascal Siakam scored 31 points and had eight rebounds. The Raptors typically have success whenever Siakam has scored 30+ points in a game.

Fred VanVleet had 15 points, while OG Anunoby recorded his first career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

The Raptors bench contributed with 57 points from five players.

Terence Davis scored 15, Malcom Miller had 13 points, 12 of which came from beyond the arc. Chris Boucher recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 12.

Shamorie Ponds made his NBA debut and scored four points.

Knicks rookie and Toronto native RJ Barrett made his home debut and scored 16 points. Julius Randle had 19 points and eight rebounds. Allonzo Trier scored 10 off the bench.

Canada Basketball is on the rise, and this game was historic for both Canada and the NBA.

The four Canadians that featured in this game were Chris Boucher, Oshae Brissett, Ignas Brazdeikis and RJ Barrett.

A couple of the highlights of the night included VanVleet weaving his way through the New York defence, and Marc Gasol draining a three from deep.

The Raptors end off November with a trip to Orlando to play the Magic on Friday.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at Amway Center.
