The Toronto Raptors began December with a 130-110 win against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.

The Raptors scored a season-best 77 points in the first half. They were up a franchise-best 40 points at halftime. They also allowed a season-worst with the most points conceded in one quarter when Utah scored 49 in the third.

Pascal Siakam had 35 points in 35 minutes, along with five assists and five rebounds. Fred VanVleet recorded a double-double with 21 points and 11 assists. Norman Powell scored 15.

Serge Ibaka returned from injury after missing just over three weeks of action, he scored 13 points. Terence Davis had 13 points as well. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and OG Anunoby scored 10 points apiece.

Mike Conley led the Jazz with 20 points, Jeff Green scored 19 points in 15 minutes off the bench.

Donovan Mitchell had 16 points, and Rudy Gobert recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 11.

Head coach Nick Nurse was named the eastern conference coach of the month on Tuesday. This award was given to him for the games played in October and November, as he coached the Raptors to a current record of 14-4.

The Raptors host the Miami Heat at Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday.

The Toronto Raptors defeated the Atlanta Hawks 122-117 on Tuesday.

A number of NBA teams played afternoon games on Martin Luther King Jr. Day All teams wore special warm-up tops to commemorate the civil rights icon.

Norman Powell led Raptors scorers with 27 points in 25 minutes of action off the bench. Fred VanVleet scored 20.

Pascal Siakam had 18 points and six rebounds. Marc Gasol had 14 points. Terence Davis scored 12 points. Kyle Lowry had 10 points and seven assists.

Trae Young recorded a double-double, he scored 42 points and had 15 assists. John Collins also recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards.

De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish scored 13 points apiece. Bruno Fernando scored 12 points.

The Raptors has seven players who scored double figures. Norman Powell led scorers with 28 points in 30 minutes off the bench.

Terence Davis played 24 minutes and scored 23 points, including five three-pointers. Marc Gasol put up his best performance of the season, he had 20 points and made six three-pointers.

OG Anunoby scored 18 points. Serge Ibaka had 15 points and eight rebounds. Pascal Siakam scored 12. Kyle Lowry had 11 points and eight assists.

Troy Brown Jr. led Washington with 22 points. Isaac Bonga recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards. Bradley Beal had a surprisingly quiet night against Toronto with only 14 points.

Ish Smith and Davis Bertans scored 12 points apiece. Anžejs Pasečņiks had 11 points.

The Raptors set a franchise record in three-point field goals made in a game with 22.

Toronto had seven players who scored double figures. Norman Powell led scorers with 23 points in 27 minutes off the bench.

Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby scored 21 points apiece. Kyle Lowry had 17 points and eight assists. Marc Gasol returned to action and scored 15 points, Serge Ibaka had 15 as well.

Terence Davis had 12 points and seven rebounds in 17 minutes.

The Raptors shot 61.2 per cent from the field, and 55.6 from the field.

Dennis Schröder led Thunder scorers with 25 points off the bench. Italian Danilo Gallinari scored 23 points.

Shai-Gilgeous Alexander had 21 points, six boards and six assists. Mike Muscala scored 17 points. Veteran Chris Paul recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 assists.
